Find your own mistakes because the change has to come from within yourself not because of what other people say you improve for yourself and not for others
I am ambivalent about this because sometimes only when others point out our mistakes, we seem to realise them ourselves. On tbe other hand, some people may take it as an insult, and not improve whole-heartedly.
If others point out your mistakes, you later on realize that it is in fact a mistake that you should change because it is from a different perspective. You would later appreciate them for helping you get better and succeed.
It depends on the person, like Vishruti said. Some people like to work on their mistakes themselves, and get offended if you point out their mistakes, and others can accept it and work on those mistakes.
sometimes it is better to judge your own mistakes, but there are many times where you are unable to identify your mistake. At that time, when someone points out your mistake it can be helpful. What may seem right to you can be wrong to someone else.
