Hi kobe526, your answer is wrong because you have to distribute all the cookies, as said in the riddle.

Why don't they distribute 9 of the cookies and tell the the children not to them. Then you take them back and put them in the basket. Next , you give the 10th cookie and technically you did distribute all 10 of the cookies-you just didn't let the children eat them.

Hi Anonymous(s),
Both of you are wrong.
First anonymous - you are wrong because if you buy an extra cookie, you wouldn't be distributing all cookies.
Second anonymous - you are wrong because you need to equally distribute all cookies, and all of them should have the cookies at the same time.
